Isle of Wight – November 2021
A long-awaited visit to the Isle of Wight in November 2021.
Ferry across from Portsmouth to Fishbourne. Unfortunately not by hovercraft this time!
Accommodation at Ventnor Botanic Garden in the newly converted Smuggles Lodge, previously a TB hospital, then a mushroom house. A really special location, with direct (and complimentary) access to the gardens themselves.
A blustery trip up Tennyson Down, all the way across to The Needles, with a very exciting flypast of two pumas and a chinhook.
Lots of nice houses and scenery. Endless views!
